Hello, My name is Debbie and this is my son Ryan.  He received a multi visceral (5 organ) transplant on December 24th, 2005 at Children's Hospital of Boston.  This made him the 2nd child in New England to receive a multi visceral transplant and the only one with Cystic Fibrosis to receive a multi organ transplant in the world.

Ryan's transplant consisted of Liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach and intestine.

I wanted to start this site to share our experience and track Ryan's journey so far.
We are extremely blessed to have him here with us today.  He is a beautiful happy little boy that gives us so much joy and fills our hearts with love.

His life was literally saved by his organ transplant and we are forever grateful to his donor and family, they are always in our prayers.
Because of them we have our son, we have a future with him, we have hope.

When I was going through all of this with him there was no "Positive" site out there!  Just very scary sites with not much hope.  I will never give up my fight to cure Cystic Fibrosis.  Ryan's older sister Kayla (by 16 mos) also has CF, so I will never give up for my beautiful babies!  "Don't Stop Believing" is my motto, my friends would laugh and say "Yup,that's Debbie for you"!  Anyway, I hope this reaches someone, somewhere that needs to know there is hope :)
